Instructors

James P. Dobrowolski, Ph.D.—Jim Dobrowolski is Watershed Extension Specialist in the Department of Natural Resource Sciences at Washington State University and Program Director of Outreach and Education for the Washington Water Research Center. His emphasis is working with landowners and agencies around the state on subjects that include watershed management, wildland and urban interface issues, hydrology and erosion management, wildland restoration and ecology, and rangeland management. Topics: What’s the context for a restoration, rehabilitation, recovery, enhancement, and creation project/event? What are we trying to prevent or restore? What’s holding the watershed together? A new method to link larger landscapes with monitoring.
